All builders in the Etherlink ecosystem are now eligible for the Scale Tier of the Google Cloud Web3 Startup Program, providing access to substantial cloud resources and technical support. This announcement builds on previous initiatives within the broader Tezos ecosystem, where the Tezos Foundation used Google Cloud to set up a resilient, secure online copy of the Tezos blockchain on six continents of the world using the standard Google Cloud SDK tools.

Builders can apply through the Google Cloud Web3 Startup Program website.

Through this program, developers who have received a grant from the Tezos Foundation and are building on Etherlink can access $200,000 in Google Cloud credits alongside advanced infrastructure and cloud tools. The program also includes technical support and solution architecture guidance, dedicated Web3-focused engineering resources, and go-to-market opportunities with Google Cloud. Builders will also have access to the Google Cloud Web3 community, access to an invite-only gated Discord channel with Google Cloud Web3 product, engineering, partners, and other startups in the program, and VIP access to Google Cloud events at global Web3 conferences like Paris Blockchain Week, Consensus, and TOKEN2049 Singapore.

“We’re seeing real momentum when developers have the tools and resources to just build. Remove the friction, and innovation follows,” said Rich Widmann, Head of Web3 Strategy at Google Cloud.

The Tezos Foundation uses Google Cloud’s worldwide infrastructure to rapidly deploy archive nodes and blockchain backups across multiple continents.

“This collaboration with Google Cloud represents a significant advantage for builders choosing Etherlink,” said Yann Régis-Gianas, Head of Engineering at Nomadic Labs. “Having $200,000 in Google Cloud credits means builders on Etherlink can actually experiment and build without worrying about infrastructure costs eating into their runway.”

The program provides builders with introductions to Google Cloud’s investor and VC network, along with invitations to exclusive Google events, webinars, and learning sessions. This ecosystem support complements Etherlink’s recent momentum, which has seen TVL surge beyond $70M in October and the integration of institutional-grade protocols including Lombard Finance, Midas, and Oku.
