The US Securities and Exchange Commission and Gemini Trust have reached an agreement in principle to settle a lawsuit over an unregistered crypto lending program.

The settlement resolves the SEC’s case against the digital asset exchange regarding its lending operations that regulators alleged violated securities laws by operating without proper registration.
