Tokenized stocks are collateralized 1:1 to traditional stocks, mirror the underlying stocks’ market performance, and even entitles users to dividends.
Bittrex Global has listed the following tokenized stocks:
Amazon (AMZN), Tesla (TSLA), Apple (AAPL), Netflix (NFLX), Pfizer (PFE), Google (GOOGL), Beyond Meat (BYND), Alibaba (BABA), Facebook (FB), BioNTech (BNTX), and Bilibili (BILI).
Traders in the U.S. are prohibited from trading these assets.
Bittrex Global has partnered with CM-Equity to enable this service, a financial company licensed to offer tokenized stocks.
Earlier in October, leading crypto exchange FTX also tied up with CM-Equity to launch a similar offering.
