BitMine Immersion Technologies, the largest corporate holder of Ethereum, said Monday it now holds more than 2 million ETH worth over $8.5 billion, up from 1.8 million ETH reported last Tuesday.

The firm continues to hold 192 Bitcoin and reported $266 million in cash on its balance sheet.

BitMine maintains the world’s largest Ethereum treasury and ranks as the second-largest crypto treasury globally, behind Strategy, which holds 638,460 Bitcoin valued at $71 billion.

“BitMine has surpassed the 2 million ETH milestone this past week. As we mentioned in our August Chairman’s message, the convergence of both Wall Street moving onto the blockchain and AI/ agentic-AI creating a token economy is creating a supercycle for Ethereum,” said Thomas “Tom” Lee, Chairman of BitMine. “And the power law benefits large holders of ETH, hence, we pursue the ‘alchemy of 5%’ of ETH.”

The company also announced a $20 million strategic investment in Eightco Holdings as part of OCTO’s $270 million PIPE. This investment marks the beginning of BitMine’s “Moonshot” strategy, which allocates approximately 1% of its balance sheet to strengthen the Ethereum ecosystem.

BitMine has emerged as one of the most actively traded stocks in the US, with a five-day average daily trading volume of $1.7 billion as of September 5, 2025. This places it at #30 among US-listed stocks, positioned between Bank of America Corp and Exxon Mobil Corp.

The company maintains support from institutional investors, including ARK’s Cathie Wood, MOZAYYX, Founders Fund, Bill Miller III, Pantera, Kraken, DCG, and Galaxy Digital, in its pursuit of acquiring 5% of ETH.
