Representatives from 11 of the 12 houses attended Trump’s meeting, with House Speaker Mike Johnson participating by phone.

“I am in the Oval Office with 11 of the 12 Congressmen/women necessary to pass the GENIUS Act and, after a short discussion, they have all agreed to vote tomorrow morning in favor of the Rule,” Trump said. “Speaker of the House Mike Johnson was at the meeting via telephone, and looks forward to taking the Vote as early as possible.”

“I want to thank the Congressmen/women for their quick and positive response. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump added.

The announcement came after the US House blocked a key procedural motion earlier today, delaying the consideration of important crypto regulation bills, specifically GENIUS, CLARITY, and Anti-CBDC, along with other measures.

The motion’s failure came despite prior approval from the Rules Committee, with internal disagreements within the Republican caucus contributing to the block.
