The Ethereum-based Shiba Inu ecosystem announced a partnership with the United Arab Emirates’ Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MoEI), marking the first collaboration between a UAE government entity and a Web3 project of this scale.

The agreement will implement Shiba Inu’s Operational System (ShibOS) across MoEI operations at the federal level, focusing on energy, infrastructure, and public services development.

His Excellency Eng Sharif Al Olama, Undersecretary for Energy and Petroleum Affairs at MoEI, said:

“We’re delighted to deepen our commitment to cutting-edge digital services. This partnership represents a pivotal moment in our journey toward redefining government services.”

The initiative will utilize Shiba Inu’s Web3 technologies to enhance public service efficiency, green infrastructure, and governance models.

“We’re thrilled the Ministry sees Shiba Inu as a cornerstone for next-generation infrastructure,” said Shytoshi Kusama, Lead Visionary for the Shiba Inu team.

“This ‘Partnership’ showcases the power of Shib, Bone, Leash, and, especially Treat, which unlocks our robust Web3 technologies that span everything from AI to Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE).”

TREAT powers ShibaOS and serves as the ecosystem’s key token for rewards, governance, and security.

While other blockchain projects have established regional partnerships, such as Cardano’s collaboration with Dubai Police, the MoEI agreement stands out for its comprehensive scope across all emirates.
