Tether, the world’s leading stablecoin issuer, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Da Nang City to develop blockchain-based governance solutions for the Vietnamese municipality.

The collaboration will target blockchain policy development, sandbox frameworks, and tokenization of real-world assets. It also includes educational programs with universities to promote blockchain, peer-to-peer, and AI literacy, and to train local talent in building blockchain-based payment systems that enhance financial inclusion.
