VALORANT Masters London showcases rising Russian talent across multiple rosters
Kr1stal, vo0kashu, hvoya, and Rarga highlight a growing Russian presence at the VCT's premier midseason tournament running through June 21
Five Russian players are competing at VALORANT Masters London 2026, spread across different international rosters in a tournament that runs from June 6 through June 21 at London’s Copper Box Arena. Among them, a web of former teammates, coaching relationships, and import-driven roster swaps tells a story about how competitive VALORANT is quietly becoming one of the more globally interconnected esports scenes.
The tournament features 12 teams drawn from the Americas, EMEA, Pacific, and China regions. And buried in those rosters are names that Russian VALORANT fans have been tracking for a while: Kr1stal, vo0kashu, hvoya, and Rarga.
The players and the connections between them
Kr1stal, whose real name is Savva Fedorov, is a 23-year-old initiator and in-game leader currently playing for Global Esports. Born on April 3, 2003, he made the move to GE after a stint with XLG, a transition reportedly driven by import regulations rather than any falling out.
Then there’s vo0kashu, who competes under the banner of Dragon Ranger Gaming. Both vo0kashu and Rarga have already made noise in the tournament’s early Swiss stage, landing on top performer rankings during the opening rounds.
Rarga has connections to past XLG rosters, creating an overlap with Kr1stal’s competitive history.
Hvoya rounds out the group as the head coach of Xi Lai Gaming, one of the Chinese representatives at the event. His role is particularly interesting because of his documented relationships with both Kr1stal and Rarga.
Early tournament performance
Vo0kashu and Rarga both appearing in top performer rankings during the Swiss stage suggests they aren’t just riding the bench on their respective rosters.
Kr1stal’s role as an IGL on Global Esports adds another dimension. In-game leaders in VALORANT handle real-time strategic calls, economy management, and mid-round adjustments. Having that role filled by a player who recently switched organizations means Global Esports is betting on Kr1stal’s leadership translating quickly to a new roster environment.
The Copper Box Arena, a venue originally built for the 2012 Olympics, hosts the event through June 21.
