The buying follows a strong start to the year for Bitcoin, which rebounded above $94,000 on Monday before easing to around $92,000 at press time, per CoinGecko.
The rally was supported by renewed institutional demand, with US spot Bitcoin ETFs recording roughly $1.2 billion in net inflows over the first two trading days of the year, according to Farside Investors’ data.
Momentum cooled on Tuesday, however, as the funds collectively saw about $243 million in net outflows. BlackRock’s IBIT was the only fund to record inflows, adding $229 million.
