AI security startup Alice raises $140 million
The Israeli company, valued near $1 billion, works with Anthropic, Google, and Nvidia to test safeguards against misuse.
Alice, an Israeli startup that protects artificial-intelligence models from misuse and rogue behavior, raised $140 million, Bloomberg reported.
Apax Digital led the funding round, with participation from SentinelOne and Samsung Electronics. Alice Chief Executive Noam Schwartz said the investment values the company at close to $1 billion.
The company has dual headquarters in Tel Aviv and New York and counts Anthropic, Google, and Nvidia among its customers. Alice tests models for malicious behavior during training and while they are running.
Alice was founded as ActiveFence to provide content moderation before shifting toward AI safeguards. Schwartz said the company is approaching $100 million in annual recurring revenue and has customers in finance, healthcare, and frontier AI.
