Layer 1 blockchain Cronos has joined forces with web3 infrastructure network Galxe to launch the Cronos Spring Odyssey campaign, a new initiative designed to distribute $35,000 in token prizes to users who engage in various tasks.

According to Cronos’ blog announcement, the program marks the first of its kind since Cronos fully integrated with Galxe, featuring 30 participating projects across four key sectors, including DeFi, NFTs, memecoins, and gaming. Among these are Cronos-based projects such as Veno, Orby, Croskulls, CorgiAI, and Bored Candy.

Starting April 22, the six-week campaign invites users to complete a series of social and on-chain tasks to win rewards like tokens and NFTs.

In addition, the Spring Odyssey will introduce different web3 themes every ten days to encourage users to engage in activities such as swapping, staking, lending, and borrowing, as the team shared.

Cronos noted that the campaign not only offers token prizes but also allows participants to earn unique NFTs by completing quests associated with each themed week.

Galxe is no stranger to the web3 community. Since its launch in 2022, the Galxe platform has attracted over 14 million unique users and forged partnerships with 4,600 projects through its loyalty programs.

Powered by Galxe, the Cronos Spring Odyssey aims to put the spotlight on the Cronos blockchain and educate users about the myriad of opportunities available within DeFi, gaming, NFTs, and memecoins.

The new event follows Cronos’ mainnet v1.2 upgrade last week, which aims to provide backward compatibility and support new EVM types and parameters.
