So this is an Ankr Code Review, not an ICO review, but I'm looking very carefully at the consensus protocol here. Proof of Useful Work sounds intriguing. Ankr explain they're creating 'Distributed Cloud Computing on Trusted Hardware' and they have a lot of original ideas. Maybe too many for one project?
Quick Essentia code review, it's a data interoperability ICO, some funny terminology here - "Essences" are data owners, private or corporate, "Synergies" are the links designed to help data services operate. Sure, why not. But hey, they call their robot assistant Jarvis, so it can't be all bad.
One MILLION transactions per second! Directed Acyclic Hypergraph! PoS PoA PoW! Yeah, this is starting to sound like an episode of Star Trek, not the Enecuum Code Review I'm supposed to do here, but they really up the hyperbole on this one. So let's look at Enecuum (ENQ) code for some answers.
The Coda code review here examines a protocol that basically aims to keep cryptocurrency decentralized and inexpensive so that blockchain verification is available to anyone. Here we go, decentralization, scalability, security all in one? They claim a "constant-sized blockchain" so let's look at Coda.
Arweave code review by Andre Cronje - investigating this young team's contention that they have 'solved' the problem of permanent data storage using a new blockchain consensus mechanism called 'Proof of Access'. Can the Arweave ICO live up to their bold claims? Maybe so...
Here's my Emotiq code review for this blockchain: scalable, private, natural. Natural? Emotiq is a next generation blockchain with powerful scalability and privacy, combining the latest research in distributed ledger technology with an innovative natural-language approach to smart contracts.
Lightstreams is a blockchain designed for decentralised applications that require speed and privacy when sharing content. It's built on a modified version of the Ethereum blockchain and purports to solve the problem of data storage. Andre Cronje looks it over in his Lightstreams code review.
Fog computing won't be familiar to everyone, so the Hero Node code review here will be a little out of the ordinary and maybe not as recognizable as some of the code we've looked at together. The Hero Node ICO is currently in whitelist stage. Andre Cronje has mixed feelings.
