Bitfinex announces listing of 9GAG's MEME token

Bitfinex, a leading digital asset trading platform, has confirmed today the addition of Memecoin (MEME) to its list of tradable tokens. MEME is the ecosystem token of Memeland, a web3 venture studio created by the popular meme platform 9GAG.
The integration of MEME into Bitfinex’s platform is a nod to the growing influence of internet culture in the crypto space. Memecoin is designed to fuse humor with technology, offering a unique way for users to engage with the web3 community and participate in various activities.
Henry Child, the Head of Tokens at Bitfinex, expressed enthusiasm about the new listing:

Starting January 9, 2024, users have been able to deposit MEME on Bitfinex. Trading is slated to begin on January 11, with MEME being paired against the US Dollar and Tether tokens. Withdrawals will follow shortly after, becoming available on January 12.
