Dubai-based The Game Company, a next-generation cloud gaming startup enabling anyone to play leading online games like Fortnite and Rocket League without specific device or download requirements, today announced its intention to launch its platform on Telcoin Network. As the world’s first telecom-focused blockchain exclusively validated by GSMA mobile network operators (MNOs), Telcoin Network will give The Game Company access to mobile subscribers worldwide, regulated banking infrastructure, and payment rails that bridge traditional finance and web3.

The Game Company’s decision to bring its AI-enhanced cloud gaming platform to Telcoin Network will make possible a number of exciting new opportunities that combine decentralized finance (DeFi) with online gaming and esports. Players participating in competitive prize-based tournaments and fantasy leagues will be able to seamlessly exchange, store, and transfer their earnings between traditional and crypto economies using GMRT, TEL, ETH, and Telcoin’s global basket of Digital Cash stablecoins. This integration will provide players with seamless access to both blockchain-based and traditional payment rails.

This partnership is about more than just technology – it’s about creating opportunities and accessibility on a global scale,” said Osman Masud, CEO and co-founder of The Game Company. “With Telcoin’s infrastructure and our cutting-edge platform, we are unlocking new possibilities for gamers across the globe.”

“The Game Company’s cloud gaming platform perfectly aligns with the Telcoin Association’s vision,” said Paul Neuner, co-founder and CEO of Telcoin. “By leveraging mobile operator infrastructure globally to connect users with premium gaming experiences, they demonstrate exactly how Telcoin Network can transform access to web3 services worldwide through existing telecom channels.”

The Game Company will also leverage Telcoin’s deep MNO relationships to bring accessible cloud gaming to mobile users globally, particularly in developing markets, without requiring expensive hardware. Gamers will also benefit from Telcoin’s low-cost, regulated payment rails – that give them the flexibility of utilizing traditional or blockchain-based options – to create a more inclusive gaming experience regardless of geography or socioeconomic level.

The Game Company’s platform is now under development after its initial successful alpha testing and is set to roll out in Q1 2025.

About Telcoin Network, TEL, and the Telcoin Association

Telcoin Network and the Telcoin (TEL) token, governed by the Telcoin Association, are the blockchain network infrastructure and token standard for the telecommunications industry. By coordinating a global blockchain around mobile operators, the GSMA, and their subscribers, Telcoin aims to connect every mobile user through a shared network and scale blockchain finance and network services worldwide. In the same way that telecoms currently earn revenue from switching calls and data packets, Telcoin Network endeavors to make validating blocks of global transactions the next standard network service for its MNO partners, offering a unique new revenue stream for the industry at minimal cost to deploy.
