Layer 1 blockchain Sui announced today the expansion of its strategic partnership with Space and Time (SxT), a web3 decentralized data warehouse. As part of the collaboration, Sui’s new GraphQL RPC service, RPC 2.0 will be integrated into SxT’s blockchain indexing to facilitate a more straightforward and secure way for developers to access and build with Sui data.

Launched in late January, Sui RPC 2.0 is a GraphQL-based decentralized Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service designed to offer a reliable and high-performance foundation for developers building applications on the Sui blockchain. The new service empowers developers to create applications that interact with the Sui blockchain in more intricate ways compared to traditional read-only RPC services.

With the latest deployment, RPC 2.0 is set to replace the original Sui RPC, aiming to enhance the security and efficiency of data interactions within the Sui ecosystem. Space and Time is among the first to adopt this new service, which is part of Sui’s broader initiative to phase out older components in favor of more advanced solutions.

“Space and Time makes it easy for developers to build analytics, dApps, games, and dashboards with ZK-proven Sui data. We’re excited to partner with the Space and Time team to integrate Sui’s latest GraphQL-based RPC into SxT and enable users to interact seamlessly with Sui’s data,” said Evan Cheng, Co-Founder and CEO of Mysten Labs, the originator of the Sui Network.

Space and Time’s blockchain indexing service offers real-time access to Sui data. This service creates and constantly maintains a complete, organized copy of the Sui blockchain data in easy-to-use tables. This allows developers to perform queries, run analytics, and even integrate the results back into their Sui smart contracts within block time.

“We’ve already rolled out a powerful data warehouse with all of Sui’s data synced to the tip. We’re thrilled to now also be supporting the Sui community with the next gen of RPC nodes, which will make it easier for developers to access onchain transactions,” Scott Dykstra, CTO and Co-Founder of Space and Time , commented on the integration’s benefits for developers.

Sui has been one of the top performers in the crypto space this year. Sui’s market cap has surged over 150% since January 1 and the project is now among the top 60 crypto projects by market cap, according to CoinGecko’s data.

Launched in 2022, Space and Time is a fully decentralized data warehouse built specifically for web3 blockchain applications. The project’s goal is to empower dApps, DeFi projects, and any data-hungry initiative with powerful analytics capabilities.
