Danil ‘donk’ Kryshkovets achieves highest rating at IEM Cologne Major Stage 2
The Team Spirit prodigy posted a staggering 2.27 HLTV rating across four maps, nearly a full point ahead of the next closest player.
There are good performances in Counter-Strike, and then there’s whatever Danil “donk” Kryshkovets just did. During Stage 2 of the IEM Cologne Major 2026, the Team Spirit star posted a 2.27 HLTV rating across four maps, the highest individual rating of the entire stage and one of the most dominant stretches in Major history.
To put that number in context, BetBoom’s Magnojez finished second with a 1.47 rating. That’s a gap of 0.80 points, which in HLTV rating terms is less “slight edge” and more “different sport entirely.”
A masterclass in every sense
HLTV ratings function as the primary statistical measure of individual Counter-Strike performance. A rating of 1.00 is average. Anything above 1.30 is considered elite. Donk nearly doubled that threshold.
His peak came on Nuke against 9z, where he recorded a single-map rating of 2.76. He went 23-7 in kills-to-deaths on that map.
That 2.76 stands as the highest single-map rating of the Major so far.
Stage 2 took place on June 7-8 in Cologne, Germany, as part of the fifth CS2 Major Championship. The format pitted teams against each other in a Swiss-style bracket.
They beat BetBoom 13-5. They beat MIBR 13-1. They beat 9z twice, 13-3 and 13-1. That’s a perfect 3-0 record with only 10 rounds conceded across all four maps.
The best player in Counter-Strike keeps proving it
Donk has been regarded as one of the best players in the game since his breakout in 2024. He produced multiple maps with ratings exceeding 2.00 during Stage 2.
Team Spirit’s roster has been building around donk’s firepower under coach Sergey “hally” Shavaev. Conceding only 10 rounds across four maps requires everyone on the server to be executing at an extremely high level.
Spirit now advances to Stage 3 of the IEM Cologne Major undefeated.
