SEC Crypto Task Force to engage with early-stage crypto builders in Miami
The task force aims to advance a more principles-based regulatory structure under Chair Paul Atkins.
The SEC’s Crypto Task Force will visit Miami on January 27 to engage directly with early-stage crypto builders, as stated by SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce.
The task force, which focuses on engaging with the crypto industry to develop a clear regulatory framework for digital assets, is actively touring cities to gather input from projects on policy reforms.
Under the leadership of Chair Paul Atkins and Commissioner Hester Peirce, the task force is moving toward a principled framework rather than litigation adopted under former Chairman Gary Gensler.
