The Bitcoin treasury firm begins daily payments on STRC, with an annual dividend rate of 12% for November.
Strategy is scheduled to make its first daily dividend payment on its Stretch preferred stock (STRC) today, November 3, following a shareholder approved change to its payout schedule, according to a November 2 SEC filing.
The payment marks STRC’s transition from twice monthly distributions to daily payments on business days. Dividends began accruing under the new schedule on November 1, including weekends and holidays, with the first payment covering November 1 and 2.
The preferred stock carries a variable annual dividend rate of 12% for November, calculated against its $100 stated value. Strategy can adjust the rate monthly under specified conditions, with the structure designed to encourage STRC to trade near $100 per share.
Strategy shareholders approved the dividend amendments on October 28, with the changes taking effect November 1. The company also plans to introduce daily dividend payments for its STRF, STRK and STRD preferred shares beginning in January 2027.
