The USDC issuer posted $865 million in revenue and launched its own blockchain with BlackRock, DTCC and Visa on board
Circle had a busy quarter. The USDC issuer reported Q3 2026 revenue of $865 million and adjusted EBITDA of $317 million, clearing analyst projections of approximately $788 million.
It also launched its own blockchain.
The company, which trades on the NYSE under the ticker CRCL, affirmed its fiscal 2026 guidance alongside the results.
The numbers behind the beat
The quarter’s strength came from two places. The first is familiar: income earned on the reserves backing USDC, Circle’s dollar-pegged stablecoin.
The second source is newer. Circle booked substantial revenue from the presale of ARC tokens, the native asset of its Arc blockchain ecosystem.
That presale raised around $222 million at a $3 billion valuation. Coinciding with the mainnet launch, Circle carried out a genesis mint of 10 billion ARC tokens.
USDC circulation stood at approximately $73 to $74 billion around the time of the earnings report and the Arc launch.
Arc goes live with Wall Street in tow
Arc’s public mainnet launched on September 16, 2026. The network went live with more than 100 institutional partners and builders.
The partner list includes BlackRock, the DTCC and Visa.

Arc’s most distinctive design choice involves how fees work. Transaction fees on the network are paid in USDC rather than in a separate volatile token.
The pitch is that Arc can support on-chain financial activity alongside traditional fiat transactions. Circle is positioning the network around tokenized finance and cross-border payments.
From stablecoin issuer to infrastructure owner
Arc marks a strategic shift for Circle. For most of its history, the company has issued USDC and let it travel across other people’s blockchains.
Building a chain where USDC is the gas token deepens that integration. Every transaction on Arc becomes, in some sense, a transaction in Circle’s core product.
The ARC token presale also gives Circle a revenue line that doesn’t depend directly on the yield earned by reserve assets.
What this means for Circle and its backers
The asterisk is the composition of that revenue. Presale proceeds are, by nature, a launch-period event. A token can only have its debut once.
Meanwhile, reserve income remains the company’s backbone, and reserve margins have faced ongoing pressure. That makes USDC supply dynamics worth watching closely.
Arc could help on that front. A network that uses USDC for fees creates built-in demand for the stablecoin, which could support circulation over time.
The ARC valuation of $3 billion was set in a presale, and how the token behaves once it trades openly may shape sentiment toward Circle’s broader ecosystem.
For now, the things to watch are fairly concrete. Track USDC circulation from its current level of approximately $73 to $74 billion, the volume of real activity flowing through Arc, and whether Circle’s reserve margins stabilize.
