About Apro

Apro is a decentralized oracle and off-chain computing project that supplies data feeds and specialized logic services to the Bitcoin ecosystem and other decentralized applications. The project launched in 2021, though no specific individual founders are widely cited or verifiable. The native token, AT, began circulating from 2021 onward under a fixed five-year emission schedule, though an exact token generation event date is not consistently reported across major trackers. Apro does not operate its own base-layer blockchain. Instead, AT is issued on existing chains such as Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain, inheriting their respective consensus mechanisms. The core technical design combines off-chain computing with on-chain verification and uses staked validators to secure oracle data and network operations. AT is a utility and governance token. It is used for staking and validator incentives, paying for oracle and data services, and participating in governance over oracle parameters, data source selection, and network upgrades. AT has a hard-capped total supply of one billion tokens, with roughly 230 to 250 million currently in circulation. The remainder is distributed over a five-year vesting schedule. Apro connects external data to DeFi protocols and other on-chain applications through its oracle and computing layer.
