Jupiter opens Q3 staking reward claims with a 50 million JUP pool
Eligible stakers on the Solana-based aggregator can now claim their share of the latest Active Staking Rewards round through the Jupiter Rewards Hub
Jupiter has opened claims for its third-quarter Active Staking Rewards, and the pot is not small: 50 million JUP tokens are up for grabs.
The Solana-based DeFi aggregator began the claim process on or around October 13, 2026. The round covers the July through September 2026 staking period.
How the Q3 rewards work
Jupiter’s Active Staking Rewards program, known as ASR, runs on a quarterly cycle. Each round hands out tokens to people who stake JUP and stay engaged, rather than those who simply hold it in a wallet.
Rewards are calculated using a time-weighted average stake. Someone who staked a large amount on the final day doesn’t get credit for the full three months.
The payout lands in staked JUP, not liquid tokens. When users claim, the rewards go straight into their existing staked balance.
To qualify in recent quarters, stakers needed to hold an average of at least 50 JUP over the staking period.
Claims run through the Jupiter Rewards Hub at jup.ag/rewards. The claim window typically lasts about three months, followed by a cutoff for any pending support tickets.

Rewards left unclaimed after the window closes are not automatically distributed.
The staking numbers behind the round
As of mid-October 2026, total staked JUP exceeded 1.1 billion tokens, representing approximately 33% of JUP’s circulating supply. The stake is spread across more than 357,000 wallets.
The program produces an estimated annual percentage yield of around 18%.
Unstaking JUP requires a cooldown period, so tokens can’t be pulled out the instant market conditions change.
Background: why Jupiter pays stakers
The ASR mechanism redistributes rewards from community allocations. Staked JUP also carries voting power in the Jupiter DAO.
The Q3 round follows earlier ASR distributions in the first and second quarters of 2026.
What this means for JUP holders and the DAO
A 50 million JUP distribution arrives as staked JUP, so it doesn’t immediately hit the open market. Holders weighing the roughly 18% estimated yield should keep in mind that it’s paid in the same asset they already hold.
Since rewards auto-compound into staked balances, consistent stakers gain voting weight quarter after quarter. Stakers who miss the claim window slowly lose relative influence.
The three-month claim window and the lack of automatic distribution mean that inattentive stakers can leave tokens on the table.
