Wall Street closes for the evening. Onchain stock traders apparently treat that as the starting gun.
Jupiter, the decentralized exchange aggregator on Solana, reports that over 63% of its tokenized equity trading volume happens outside standard US market hours. On BNB Chain, the off-hours share is even higher, at more than 70%.
The timing matters because the sector is growing fast. Onchain tokenized equities reached a record $3.8 billion in circulating supply by early October 2026, up 590% year to date.
The numbers behind the night shift
Here is how the off-hours share breaks down across chains, based on October 2026 figures:
BNB Chain: more than 70% of tokenized equity volume occurs outside US market hours.
Solana (Jupiter): 63% of tokenized equity volume lands outside the traditional session.
Base: nearly 60% of tokenized equity volume takes place outside traditional market hours.

Jupiter’s latest reading also fits its own history. Earlier Jupiter-specific data showed off-hours trading making up between 55% and 68% of total volume.
Volume is climbing alongside it. Jupiter reported 50% month-over-month growth in tokenized asset trading volume around mid-October 2026.
The user base has expanded too. Tokenized equity holders onchain reached 1.9 million by early September 2026, a 73% jump from approximately 967,000 holders in early August.
How Jupiter got into the stock business
A key piece of the story dates to May 5, 2026. That is when Securitize, Jump Trading, and Jupiter formed a partnership aimed at enabling compliant trading of tokenized equities on Solana.
Since then, the growth has been steep. The $3.8 billion circulating supply figure represents growth of somewhere between 483% and 590% for the year, depending on which measurement source you use.
What this means for traders and markets
Round-the-clock access is the one thing tokenization offers that traditional exchanges currently cannot. That gives onchain venues like Jupiter a distinctive pitch, rather than simply competing as a cheaper or faster version of a brokerage app.
There are open questions worth tracking. Liquidity during off-hours depends on market makers being willing to quote prices while the underlying exchange is closed, which is exactly the gap a firm like Jump Trading is positioned to fill.
The next checkpoints are straightforward. Watch whether Jupiter’s month-over-month volume growth holds after its 50% jump, and whether the holder count keeps expanding from 1.9 million.
Also watch whether the off-hours share on Solana drifts toward the BNB Chain level above 70%.
