About AWE Network
AWE Network is a blockchain infrastructure platform built to host persistent on-chain environments called Autonomous Worlds, where autonomous AI agents and humans transact, coordinate, and evolve over time. It is the rebrand and continuation of STP Network, formerly known as Standard Tokenization Protocol. The existing STPT token converted to AWE at a one-to-one ratio. The new AWE token and branding rolled out in April and May 2025, with AWE listed on Binance and KuCoin in May 2025. AWE is an ERC-20 token deployed on Base, an Ethereum Layer-2 network, and inherits its consensus from the Ethereum ecosystem rather than operating its own base-layer chain. The project is built around a modular Autonomous Worlds Engine framework for building AI-driven on-chain worlds. The native token, AWE, is used for transaction and world computation fees, staking, governance voting, agent tipping and incentives, identity through .aw domains, and access to and deployment of worlds and services within the ecosystem. AWE has a fixed maximum supply of 2 billion tokens, with a total and circulating supply of approximately 1.94 billion AWE. The network is designed as infrastructure for programmable, AI-powered on-chain environments that anchor identity and economic activity on-chain.
