The New York City program will pick just 4 to 6 teams for a three-month run starting in March 2027

Solana Labs is taking applications again. The company announced on November 2, 2026 that it is recruiting teams for the sixth cohort of the Solana Incubator.

The program kicks off in March 2027 and runs for three months in New York City. It will admit only 4 to 6 teams.

What the program offers

Applications close on December 4, 2026. Admissions run on a rolling basis, and early submissions get the advantage.

Selected teams get hands-on help from Solana Labs staff. They also receive a relocation stipend and access to mentorship from industry leaders.

The small cohort size is deliberate. The program emphasizes individualized attention, and you can only give that to a handful of teams at once.

Who Solana Labs wants this time

Cohort 6 targets three kinds of applicants. The first group is existing Solana teams that want to accelerate what they are already building.

The second group is Web3 teams working on other platforms that are exploring a move into the Solana ecosystem. The third is Web2 teams, meaning conventional internet companies, that are considering an integration with Solana.

Earlier cohorts covered a range of sectors. Past participants worked on AI, decentralized physical infrastructure, and stablecoin development.

Decentralized physical infrastructure, often shortened to DePIN, refers to networks that use crypto incentives to coordinate real-world hardware.

The track record so far

The incubator can point to some recognizable names among its alumni. Sanctum and Marinade both came through the program.

There is also a funding stat that Solana Labs will be happy to cite. Seven out of 18 early alumni have raised more than $5 million.
