Spot Bitcoin ETFs pull in $175.6 million as ether funds add $24.8 million

US spot Bitcoin funds return to net inflows after a rough start to October, with Fidelity's FBTC leading the day

US spot Bitcoin ETFs took in $175.6 million in net inflows, while spot ether ETFs added $24.8 million.

The figures cover trading on October 13, 2026. Data aggregated by Alpha Finance and The Block put the Bitcoin tally at approximately $175.7 million.

A rebound after a messy week

On October 7, spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded net outflows of $487 million. The next day, October 8, another $244 million left.

Fidelity did most of the heavy lifting. The Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) posted $103.1 million in net inflows, the largest single-fund haul of the day.

On the ether side, the Grayscale Ethereum Staking Mini Trust led with $16.7 million. That accounts for about two-thirds of the $24.8 million that flowed into ether products on the day.

The 30-day picture tells a different story for each asset

Zoom out to the 30-day window leading up to October 13 and the gap between the two assets gets wider. Bitcoin ETFs attracted roughly $2.06 billion in net inflows over that period.

Ether funds went the other way. They recorded a net outflow of $192 million across the same stretch.

The scale of the two markets also differs sharply. Spot Bitcoin ETFs now hold approximately $100.75 billion in net assets, compared with around $14.48 billion for ether ETFs.

Cumulative net inflows into Bitcoin ETFs stand at $57.68 billion since the products launched on January 11, 2024. Ether ETFs show $13.16 billion in cumulative inflows.

Relative to the underlying assets, spot Bitcoin ETFs represent roughly 6% of Bitcoin’s market cap. Spot ether ETFs account for about 4.7% of ether’s market cap.

Background: how ETF flows became the market’s mood ring

Spot ETFs give investors exposure to Bitcoin or ether through a regular brokerage account, with no wallets or private keys required. Since the Bitcoin products launched in January 2024, daily flow data has become one of the most closely watched indicators of institutional appetite.
