Strategy adds 250 Bitcoin to lift holdings to 848,250 BTC
The firm controls more than 4% of Bitcoin's total supply, cementing its lead among publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holders.
Strategy now holds 848,250 BTC valued at roughly $70.7 billion after acquiring 250 coins for approximately $22 million, according to figures published on its website Monday.
The company financed the latest purchase using $21 million in net proceeds from MSTR stock sales and $500,000 in USD Cash, it said in a press release.
As of Oct. 11, Strategy held approximately $4.9 billion in its USD Reserve and more than $640 million in USD Cash. The reserve is designed to support preferred stock dividends and interest payments on outstanding debt, while USD Cash can fund Bitcoin acquisitions and other treasury management activities.
Strategy also reported buying back 1.93 million STRC preferred shares for about $192 million between October 5 and October 11, 2026. No repurchases were recorded for its STRF, STRK or STRD preferred shares or MSTR Class A common stock during the same period.
