BNB Chain users can now trade bStocks on Metric’s new DEX

Metric's oracle-anchored exchange brings trading and liquidity provision for tokenized US stocks and ETFs to BNB Chain

Tokenized stocks on BNB Chain have a new place to trade. Metric has opened its decentralized exchange on the network, letting users trade and provide liquidity for bStocks, the BEP-20 tokens that represent US stocks and ETFs.

The launch landed on October 14, 2026. It pairs one of the fastest-growing tokenized equity products with a DEX built around off-chain price feeds rather than pure on-chain guesswork.

What Metric is actually launching

bStocks are tokenized versions of US equities and exchange-traded funds. Each one lives on BNB Chain as a BEP-20 token, the network’s standard token format.

Users can swap bStocks directly on the exchange. They can also deposit assets into Metric’s pools as liquidity providers, the people who supply the inventory that makes trading possible.

Metric’s smart contracts are deployed on BNB Smart Chain, which carries chain ID 56. The same contracts also run on Ethereum and Robinhood Chain.

The propAMM model, explained

Most decentralized exchanges use automated market makers, or AMMs. These set prices using the ratio of tokens sitting in a pool.

Metric takes a different route. It uses what it calls a propAMM, short for provisioned automated market maker.

Instead of relying only on internal price discovery, the system pulls in external oracles. Chainlink Data Streams is among them.

Those feeds anchor pool prices to off-chain market rates. The design is meant to support continuous trading for these real-world asset tokens. It also aims to play nicely with other DeFi protocols on BNB Chain, including PancakeSwap.

Metric’s quiet run-up

Metric did not arrive empty-handed. Before going public with its DEX launches, the team reported more than $10 billion in cumulative trading volume.

That volume was built while Metric operated in stealth across several chains, including Robinhood Chain and Ethereum.

bStocks had a head start

bStocks launched around June 11, 2026. The product is backed by regulated custody from BTech Holdings Ltd., an affiliate of the Binance group.

By July 2026, bStocks accounted for about 85% of tokenized equity DEX volume.

What this means for traders and DeFi

For BNB Chain users, the most immediate change is choice. bStocks now have another venue where they can be traded and pooled, with pricing tied to external market data.

For the broader BNB Chain ecosystem, composability is the bigger story. If bStocks liquidity on Metric connects smoothly with protocols like PancakeSwap, tokenized equities could start behaving like regular DeFi building blocks rather than isolated novelties.

For now, the setup is straightforward. bStocks bring the dominant market share, BTech Holdings brings the custody, and Metric brings an oracle-anchored DEX with a reported $10 billion-plus track record.
