About Securitize
Securitize is a regulated tokenization platform for real-world assets. Its on-chain asset SECZ is a tokenized version of Securitize Corp.'s publicly listed common stock, built to bring NYSE shares onto public blockchains for regulated trading and record-keeping. Securitize common stock began trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker SECZ on July 2, 2026. In the same session, the company launched tokenized SECZ shares on Avalanche and Solana, making approximately $295 million of its common stock available in blockchain-native form. On Avalanche, tokenized shares are issued through a permissioned DS Protocol ERC-20 implementation. On Solana, they use the Token-2022 standard with default-frozen account state and a pausable authority for KYC gating. Each on-chain transfer is integrated directly into the issuer's master securityholder records, so a blockchain transfer constitutes a legal transfer of the underlying share. The on-chain asset carries the ticker SECZ and represents a full share of NYSE-listed common stock rather than a separate utility or protocol token. SECZ is used for ownership, compliant transfer, and trading of that equity. It does not serve typical crypto functions such as gas fees, staking rewards, or protocol governance. SECZ gives regulated, on-chain access to Securitize's public stock with programmable compliance, while remaining the same legal security as the corresponding off-chain NYSE share.
