About Cysic
Cysic is a decentralized verifiable compute network, sometimes called a ComputeFi platform, that runs a marketplace for computational power used in AI inference, zero-knowledge proof generation, and on-chain verifiable compute services. The project's tokenomics and documentation were published around 2025, though individual founders are not clearly identified in publicly available sources. Cysic is a Layer-1 blockchain built with the Cosmos CDK and designed to be EVM-compatible. It uses a Proof-of-Compute consensus system where staking and rewards are tied to verifiable compute work performed by decentralized hardware providers including GPUs, ASICs, and servers. The CYS token and Cysic mainnet launched in Q4 2025, with the token generation event and initial circulation reported in December 2025. CYS is the native utility token. It is used to pay for compute services, ZK tasks, and AI tasks; to stake and secure the network; and to earn rewards as a compute contributor or validator. Governance participation works indirectly through staking, which allows holders to mint a non-transferable governance credit token called CGT. CYS has a fixed maximum supply of one billion tokens. Approximately 160.8 million tokens, roughly 16.1 percent of total supply, were circulating at launch, with emissions scheduled over approximately eleven years. The project's goal is to tokenize and monetize computing resources by turning dedicated or idle hardware into verifiable, rentable on-chain compute capacity.
