OpenAI teams up with Cloudflare on AI search indexing
The new Cloudflare One Design Partner designation gives select global partners access to AI-powered security tools as enterprise demand for secure AI solutions grows.
Cloudflare and OpenAI are partnering on a research pilot to study how real-time network signals can improve the way AI search engines discover and index content across the web, the company said Wednesday.
The initiative will examine whether data such as content freshness, page changes and traffic quality can help AI systems provide more accurate and up-to-date answers.
Cloudflare said its network, which supports more than 20% of the web, provides unique visibility into how content changes over time, while OpenAI will contribute its AI models, search systems and user queries to evaluate the approach.
The companies said the pilot aims to make AI search more efficient and improve the quality of responses.
