Kraken is preparing to launch a rebuilt version of its mobile app designed to make crypto investing easier by combining AI-powered financial intelligence with a goal-based user experience, the company said in a Friday statement.

The company said the app will use artificial intelligence to understand each user’s goals, financial profile and risk appetite before delivering tailored portfolio proposals, news and investment insights.

Although the AI can identify opportunities in real time, trades will only proceed after receiving the user’s confirmation. This way, users retain control over every trade while the app helps simplify portfolio management.

In a recent interview with CNBC, Kraken said AI will play a central role in its expansion beyond exchange services into expanded financial products, including payments and lending, as the industry increasingly integrates autonomous technology to improve user engagement and investing decisions.
