Meteora AG has opened an allocation checker for a new pool of 6 million MET tokens. This one isn’t for the people who parked liquidity in its pools. It’s for the people who explained to everyone else how to do it.
The checker is part of Meteora’s LP Stimulus Plan Season 2. It rewards what the project calls “expert contributors,” a group that includes educators and builders who helped grow the LP Army during the program’s run.
Who gets paid, and how much
The tranche totals 6,000,000 MET. That works out to 0.6% of MET’s total supply of 1 billion tokens.
The checker went live around October 29, 2026. Eligible contributors have until December 31, 2026, to connect a Solana wallet and confirm their allocation.
The qualifying window is fixed and already closed. Season 2 ran from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, so whatever counted toward eligibility happened during that stretch.
The mechanics are simple. Once a wallet is linked, MET arrives through airdrops in increments, with no further on-chain steps required.
A separate pot from the main LP rewards
This expert allocation should not be confused with the broader LP Stimulus Season 2 rewards. Those were a different, larger distribution.

The main Season 2 pool totaled 20,000,000 MET. It was sized according to the trading fees generated in qualifying pools, which ties rewards directly to the liquidity people actually provided.
The claim window for that main airdrop closed on October 21, 2026. Anyone who missed it is not getting a second chance through this new checker, because the new checker measures something else entirely.
The split shows two different theories of contribution. The 20 million MET pool pays for capital at work. The 6 million MET pool pays for knowledge and labor, the tutorials, tools and community building that pull new liquidity providers in.
Background: the LP Stimulus Plan
Meteora has committed a sizable slice of its token supply to this effort. The project reserves 15% of total MET supply for liquidity providers and contributors across multiple seasons of the LP Stimulus Plan.
Token supply dynamics matter here too. Roughly 48% of MET was circulating at the token generation event, meaning a substantial share of supply hit the market at launch rather than being released slowly.
Against that backdrop, a 6 million MET allocation is a modest addition. It is a rounding detail compared with what has been circulating since day one.
What this means
For MET holders, the immediate supply impact looks small. At 0.6% of total supply, spread across a niche group of contributors and delivered in increments, this tranche is unlikely to flood the market all at once.
For eligible contributors, the practical takeaway is the deadline. December 31, 2026, is the cutoff for linking a Solana wallet, and the main Season 2 window already showed that Meteora enforces its dates.
With 15% of supply earmarked for the LP Stimulus Plan overall, the cadence and size of future seasons will shape MET’s supply schedule far more than this single checker.
