Ripple expands prime brokerage relationship with Brevan Howard

Ripple's expanded partnership with Brevan Howard underscores the increasing integration of digital and traditional markets, enhancing institutional investment strategies.

Ripple has expanded its relationship with Brevan Howard, with Ripple Prime set to provide multi-asset prime brokerage, clearing and financing services to funds managed by the global investment firm.

The agreement gives Brevan Howard access to Ripple Prime’s cross-asset platform, which combines traditional and digital market services within a single institutional infrastructure.

Ripple said the expanded relationship reflects growing demand from investment managers for prime brokerage services that span both traditional and digital assets.

“As digital and traditional markets become more interconnected, the need for institutional-quality digital asset infrastructure that enables a seamless experience for investors is only growing,” Brevan Howard Group COO Alan McGroarty said.

Ripple Prime President Noel Kimmel said the deal highlights demand for cross-asset prime services and the company’s push to serve institutional investors across both markets.

The agreement builds on Brevan Howard’s existing relationship with Ripple. Funds managed by Brevan Howard affiliates participated in Ripple’s $500 million strategic investment round in 2025.

Ripple Prime forms part of Ripple’s broader institutional offering, which also includes payments, custody and treasury management services.
