Customers can enable the feature by linking an AI agent to a new agentic account through Robinhood’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) infrastructure. The feature is available at no cost to US customers for equities and options trading, with crypto support coming later.

According to the company, AI agents can access customers’ portfolio information, buying power, account balances, transaction history and watchlists to analyze investments, create portfolios, automate trading strategies, rebalance holdings and execute orders.

Robinhood said users remain informed through trade notifications and live portfolio tracking, while retaining the option to require approval before trades are placed or allow agents to trade automatically.
