Roundtable secures $1B deal with Paradium.AI for media platform migration
The 10-year agreement will migrate brands like TheStreet and Parade onto Roundtable's AI and DeFi-powered media operating system
Roundtable, the Nasdaq-listed AI and DeFi media platform, has locked in a 10-year agreement worth $1B with Paradium.AI to migrate the latter’s entire media portfolio onto its Enterprise Media Operating System. The deal, signed on September 17, covers brands including TheStreet, Parade, and Men’s Journal, collectively reaching roughly 100 million monthly consumers.
Roundtable is investing $89 million for approximately 49% equity in Paradium, formerly known as The Arena Group, with closing targeted for Q4 2026.
What the deal actually involves
Roundtable’s MediaOS handles publishing, advertising, syndication, and community management through a single AI-driven platform. The migration will move roughly two dozen Paradium media brands off their existing infrastructure and onto this system.
The integration includes smart wallets for journalists and DeFi-based payment solutions designed to replace conventional media monetization workflows, building on previous user adoption of Roundtable’s DeFi tools.
The agreement also includes a non-cancelable perpetual license for Paradium’s technical assets, meaning Roundtable gains permanent access to the underlying technology regardless of what happens to the broader partnership.

Post-deal projections suggest Roundtable expects $100 million in annualized revenue from the arrangement, alongside EBITDA-positive operational status on a standalone basis. Roundtable only hit Nasdaq in May 2026 through a merger with RYVYL.
The people behind the partnership
Roundtable CEO James Heckman and Paradium CEO Paul Edmondson have worked together before. Paradium itself has rebranded, pivoting from its previous identity as The Arena Group and leaning into AI-enhanced operations amid persistent revenue pressures.
What this means for the media and crypto landscape
The $89 million equity investment is contingent on certain financial conditions being met, which introduces execution risk. If those conditions aren’t satisfied by Q4 2026, the entire structure could unravel.
Roundtable’s stock trades on Nasdaq under the ticker RTB, while Paradium lists on NYSE as PAAI.
