TRON DAO's Q3 report shows record-scale stablecoin settlement, rising supply and a leading share of stablecoin card spending

TRON settled $2.21 trillion in stablecoins in the third quarter.

The figure comes from TRON DAO’s State of TRON Q3 2026 report, published on October 12, 2026. It covers the July to September quarter.

The numbers behind the quarter

The report puts the exact stablecoin settlement figure at $2.2126 trillion. That is a 5.1% quarter-over-quarter increase from $2.106 trillion in Q2.

Spread across the quarter, average daily settlement reached $24.05 billion, up 3.9% from the prior period.

Supply grew too. The combined supply of USDT and USDD on TRON reached $93.88 billion, up 5.5% quarter-over-quarter and 14.9% year-over-year.

By mid-October, stablecoin supply on TRON had climbed to around $95.3 billion.

There was also a milestone along the way. Cumulative transaction volume on TRON passed $30 trillion as of September 23, 2026.

More users, more transactions, slightly lower fees

TRON processed approximately 1.1 billion transactions in Q3, a 33.7% jump year-over-year.

Average monthly active addresses rose 9.8% to 18 million.

Total value locked across the TRON ecosystem, including staking, stood at $28.21 billion.

Network fees for the quarter totaled $701.4 million. That marks a 4% decline from Q2.

TRON leads stablecoin card spending

TRON processed around $998 million in stablecoin card transaction volume during Q3. That works out to 23.2% of the $4.31 billion total across all networks, the largest share of any chain according to the report.

The ETF piece

On September 9, Canary Capital launched the Canary Staked TRX ETF, referenced in the research as the TRXS ETF. The product gives investors exposure to staked TRX through an exchange-traded wrapper.

The TRON DAO report pointed to new integrations and services, including the ETF launch, as part of the network’s continued growth during the quarter.

Background: TRON’s role in the stablecoin economy

TRON has long been one of the main homes for USDT, the largest dollar stablecoin. USDD, the other stablecoin counted in the report’s supply figure, is part of the TRON ecosystem. Combined with USDT, it brought supply to the $93.88 billion level at quarter end.
