VCT EMEA adds DarfMike, Petra, and Frankie Ward to summer broadcast lineup
Riot Games' European VALORANT league refreshes its on-air talent ahead of Stage 2, signaling the growing economic weight of esports production
Riot Games’ VCT EMEA league announced three new additions to its broadcast team on July 14: DarfMike, Petra Stoker, and Frankie Ward. The trio will join the on-air roster for the summer’s Stage 2 competition, the final regional phase before international play kicks off in Berlin.
VCT EMEA, the VALORANT Champions Tour covering Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, is one of Riot Games’ flagship competitive circuits. Stage 2 begins in mid-July 2026, and the league clearly wants fresh faces behind the desk to match the intensity on screen.
Frankie Ward is the biggest name of the three. A seasoned presenter and streamer, Ward has built a career bouncing between major esports titles. She confirmed her return to the studio the same day, noting she was “looking forward to being back in the #VCTEMEA studio.”
Petra Stoker has carved out visibility in the EMEA VALORANT scene through work on Game Changers, Riot’s initiative focused on marginalized genders in competitive play. DarfMike, by contrast, represents a newer voice, expected to bring a different energy to the broadcast.
