Binance donates $3 million to support Venezuela earthquake victims

The crypto exchange is also waiving fees for Venezuelan users affected by the devastating twin earthquakes that struck the country on June 24

Binance Charity is providing $3 million in emergency aid following the earthquakes that struck northern Venezuela on June 25, offering financial assistance to affected users while temporarily eliminating certain transaction fees to help support recovery efforts.

Under the program, eligible Binance users in the most severely affected states, including La Guaira, Distrito Capital, Miranda, Aragua, Carabobo, Falcón, and Yaracuy, will receive 20 USDT token vouchers if they complete Proof of Address and eKYC verification before June 26.

Existing users who complete Proof of Address by July 10 will also be eligible while funds remain available, with voucher distribution expected within 30 days of verification.

In addition, Binance will waive P2P trading fees on all VES-denominated transactions as well as Binance Pay merchant fees across Venezuela for seven days, ending on July 2, 2026, to reduce costs for users during the immediate recovery period.

The company noted that Binance Charity has previously delivered disaster relief assistance in multiple countries around the world and said it remains committed to supporting Venezuelan communities as recovery efforts continue.
