Bitcoin ETFs pull in nearly $1 billion as IBIT leads buying

US spot Bitcoin ETFs have now recorded nearly $1.6 billion in combined inflows over the past three days.

Nearly $1 billion flowed into US spot Bitcoin ETFs on Sept. 21 as buying continued for a third consecutive trading day, Farside Investors data shows.

BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) led the group with about $381 million in inflows, followed by ARK Invest’s ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) at $289 million and Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) at $239 million.

Competing funds managed by Morgan Stanley, Bitwise, and Grayscale also attracted demands on Monday. The latest inflows bring the combined three-day total to nearly $1.6 billion.

Robust Bitcoin ETF activity accompanied a sharp rally in Bitcoin, which climbed past $87,000 on Monday. US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw about $4.5 billion in trading volume during the session.

Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart said the volume was relatively modest considering the size of Bitcoin’s price move, noting that Friday’s volume was slightly higher at $4.6 billion.
