Bullish taps Ethereum as a launch partner for issuer-sponsored tokenized shares
The NYSE-listed platform named Ethereum alongside Solana and Aptos as initial networks for its tokenized equity services
Bullish has named Ethereum as one of its first network partners for issuer-sponsored tokenized share services. Solana and Aptos round out the initial lineup, according to the company’s November 3, 2026 announcement.
Bullish, an institution-focused digital asset platform, says it will offer tokenized equity services that companies themselves sponsor. The three blockchains are the initial networks those services will run on.
The key word is “issuer-sponsored.” The company whose shares are being tokenized is a participant in the process, not a bystander.
Ownership records will stay accurate through Equiniti, the transfer agent Bullish works with. A transfer agent is the record-keeper that tracks who legally owns a company’s shares.
The NYSE demo that set the stage
The partnership announcement followed a showcase at the New York Stock Exchange on October 27. There, CEO Tom Farley demonstrated the transfer of 61 million tokenized Bullish shares on Solana.
The whole process wrapped up in seconds.
Bullish now plans to bring that large-scale transfer capability to Aptos and Ethereum. The goal is multi-network support for issuing tokenized shares, rather than tying everything to a single chain.
A year of building toward this moment
In May, Bullish became the first NYSE-listed company to fully tokenize its equity cap table on Solana.

In August, Bullish launched live trading of its tokenized BLSH shares on its regulated exchange in Gibraltar.
On September 24, the Issuer Sponsored Token Coalition was formed with multiple partners. The group focuses on standardizing how tokenized shares link to official shareholder registers.
The biggest piece of the puzzle is still pending. Bullish is working toward acquiring Equiniti in a deal valued at $4.2 billion, which is expected to close in January 2027.
Owning the transfer agent would put the record-keeping layer under the same roof as the tokenization layer.
Why Ethereum’s inclusion stands out
Solana has been Bullish’s home base for its tokenization work so far. The cap table, the Gibraltar trading, and the NYSE demo all ran on Solana.
Adding Ethereum and Aptos signals that Bullish wants its services to be network-flexible. A company considering tokenizing its shares may not want to be locked into one blockchain.
What this means for issuers, investors and the networks
For public companies, Bullish is pitching a path to tokenize shares without breaking the connection to their shareholders. The coalition’s focus on preserving issuer-shareholder relationships speaks directly to that concern.
Companies need to know who their shareholders are for votes, dividends and communications.
The Equiniti acquisition introduces its own timeline risk. A $4.2 billion deal expected to close in January 2027 still has to actually close.
Solana has the head start, having hosted every major Bullish tokenization milestone to date. Ethereum and Aptos now get a chance to show they can support the same workload.
