Chelsea FC and Circle team up to put USDC on the global football stage
Circle and USDC branding will debut on Chelsea's men's first-team shirt at the club's first Premier League home game of the 2026/27 season this Sunday against Brighton.
Chelsea FC is partnering with Circle in a major sponsorship deal that will see the fintech company become the club’s Principal Partner and official front-of-shirt partner beginning with the 2026/27 season.
Circle and USDC branding will appear on the shirts of Chelsea’s men’s, women’s and academy teams, giving the stablecoin a prominent presence across one of football’s biggest global brands.
The partnership comes as stablecoins increasingly move beyond crypto-native use cases and toward mainstream payments and financial services. Circle is positioning USDC, its regulated digital dollar, as infrastructure for moving money globally with lower friction, internet-native speed and 24/7 availability.
The branding will debut at Chelsea’s first Premier League home game of the 2026/27 season this Sunday against Brighton. The deal puts USDC on one of football’s largest international stages as Circle looks to showcase stablecoins to a global audience.
