Jeff Dean, the engineer often described as Google’s most important technical leader, has reportedly founded a startup called Discovery Loop alongside other high-profile Google executives. Dean co-founded Google Brain in 2011, the internal research lab that essentially kickstarted the modern deep learning era at one of the world’s largest companies.
