Eco brings unified USDC routing to Stargate to streamline access to cross-chain liquidity
Stargate users can now swap USDC into any supported destination token in real time, at a guaranteed price.
[SAN FRANCISCO, California] ā 24 September 2026 – Eco, a liquidity layer that makes stablecoins work anywhere onchain, today announced that Stargate, one of the leading crypto bridge apps, is deploying Eco to power stablecoin routing across its network. Stargate connects more than 80 chains and has moved over $50 billion in cross-chain volume, bringing Ecoās routing layer into one of the largest existing cross-chain flows. Stargate users can now swap USDC for supported tokens across chains without having to manage the underlying routing themselves.
As stablecoins become embedded across a growing number of chains, applications and financial products, liquidity is increasingly fragmented across chains. Until now, teams building onchain products have needed separate connections to bridges, decentralized exchanges and liquidity rebalancing systems to move assets across chains. Eco brings routing, liquidity and settlement together through a single API that determines how each transaction reaches its destination. Applications can access and route liquidity across chains without requiring users to navigate the underlying bridges, exchanges and settlement systems.
Stargate users can now swap USDC for supported destination tokens across chains at a guaranteed price, with Eco handling the routing and conversion automatically. The LayerZero Route on Eco settles these swaps by default.

āStablecoins are becoming available everywhere, but that doesnāt automatically make the liquidity behind them easy to use,ā said Ryne Saxe, Co-Founder and CEO of Eco. āThe next phase of this market is about making all of that liquidity behave like one connected system. Stargate already moves enormous volume across chains, and plugging Eco into that flow makes it easier for users and applications to reach the asset they want without having to think about everything happening underneath.ā
As more applications and markets connect to Eco, those connections can create new routing paths across the network. Liquidity available through one connection can be used to fulfill transactions originating elsewhere, expanding the routes available to other applications using Eco. For Stargate, this means USDC holders can access supported destination tokens through a single swap experience. Eco is also enabling higher order size limits for Stargate swaps, with support for additional source tokens planned.
Swaps from USDC into supported destination tokens are live on Stargate today.
