Bitpace integrates Fireblocks for cross-border stablecoin settlements

The move comes as international merchants and financial service providers seek faster alternatives to traditional payment and banking infrastructure for cross-border settlement.

Crypto payment gateway Bitpace has announced a strategic integration with Fireblocks to streamline cross-border stablecoin settlements and strengthen its digital asset infrastructure.

By embedding Fireblocks directly into its core platform, Bitpace will offer corporate users enhanced security, custody controls and transaction management capabilities across international payment networks, the company said Tuesday.

The integration is designed to help merchants and financial service providers manage stablecoin transfers and multi-currency treasuries more efficiently.

Bitpace, which supports settlements in more than 75 crypto assets and 40 fiat currencies, said the expanded infrastructure can reduce dependence on traditional banking rails while giving businesses faster access to liquidity and more flexibility when routing digital asset payments across global markets.

Fireblocks’ security architecture provides enterprise-grade key management and custody capabilities alongside transaction settlement tools. Bitpace said combining those features with its existing payment infrastructure will allow clients to protect digital assets while maintaining faster execution and greater operational flexibility as stablecoin settlement demand grows.

The company plans to use the expanded infrastructure to accommodate higher transaction volumes and broaden its payment processing capabilities across additional jurisdictions during the coming year.
