Futu opens BNB deposits and withdrawals to Hong Kong professional investors
Eligible clients can now move BNB between self-custody wallets and their Futu crypto accounts over BNB Smart Chain
Futu Holdings now lets some of its Hong Kong clients move BNB onto and off its platform, instead of only trading it inside the platform’s walls.
The feature is limited to eligible professional investors in Hong Kong.
The rollout came through Futu Securities International (Hong Kong) Limited, the group’s Hong Kong subsidiary, and launched on October 23, 2026. Qualifying users can now transfer BNB directly between their own self-custody wallets and their Futu crypto accounts.
How the new BNB transfers work
Transfers run on the BNB Smart Chain using the BEP20 token standard.
Deposits flow from a user’s self-custody wallet into a Futu crypto account.
Withdrawals carry more guardrails. Futu only sends BNB to addresses that have been verified and placed on a whitelist ahead of time.

Speed is not the selling point. Withdrawals typically finish processing by 6:00 PM HKT on the third business day.
The fine print on fees and eligibility
Futu is not charging extra platform fees for BNB transactions, at least until further notice.
Withdrawals do carry a fee of approximately 0.000055 BNB.
The service is reserved for professional investors, a category in Hong Kong that comes with high-net-worth thresholds. One example of those thresholds is a portfolio worth HK$8 million.
How Futu got here
This is not Futu’s first move involving BNB. In July 2026, the company’s PantherTrade platform began offering BNB trading pairs to professional investors.
That earlier step let eligible clients buy and sell BNB. The October launch adds the ability to move it in and out.
