Galaxy Curation expands to Solana with two new vaults on Kamino
Galaxy Digital's curation arm brings institutional-grade risk frameworks to Solana's largest lending protocol
Galaxy Digital’s curation division is planting a flag on Solana. Galaxy Curation has launched two new vaults on Kamino, bringing its audited risk strategies and single-asset yield management to what is currently Solana’s largest lending protocol.
What Galaxy Curation actually does
The firm’s Kamino USDT vault targets a moderate-risk profile, spreading liquidity across multiple lending pools rather than concentrating exposure in a single protocol. The appeal for institutional depositors is legibility. They get a clearly defined risk framework, audited strategy logic, and a single asset they already hold: USDT. No wrapping, no bridging complexity, no manual position management.
Kamino’s curator ecosystem is getting crowded
Galaxy Curation is joining a platform that has been quietly building out one of DeFi’s more functional institutional layers. Kamino now hosts over 80 active vaults, with security features including whitelisted reserves that restrict which assets can flow through each vault.
Gauntlet, one of the more established risk management firms in DeFi, launched two vaults on Kamino in November 2025: Gauntlet USDC Prime and SOL Balanced. Gauntlet manages a total volume exceeding $2B across DeFi, and its Kamino vaults use dynamic allocation and real-time risk monitoring to adjust positions as market conditions shift.

Hyperithm joined as an institutional curator on June 30, 2026, launching the USDC Apex Vault with an initial yield of approximately 6.77% APY. RockawayX has also joined the curator roster, broadening the range of risk appetites and strategy types available to depositors.
Binance Wallet users contributed $100M in deposits to Kamino’s vault products. Cumulative aggregated deposits across Kamino vaults have reached into the hundreds of millions. Kamino’s native token, KMNO, adds another dimension for participants in curated vaults, functioning as a rewards mechanism layered on top of base lending yields.
