Fantom backer Harry Yeh found dead after 30-floor fall in Paraguay
Police and prosecutors are investigating the circumstances of the fall and what happened in the apartment before the incident.
Harry Chun Tak Yeh, also known as Harry Yeh, founder of Quantum Fintech Group and a prominent supporter of the Fantom ecosystem, was found dead after falling from the 30th floor of the Jade Park building in Asunción’s Trinidad neighborhood on August 7, according to a report from 1000 Noticias.
Police responding to an emergency call found his completely unclothed body on the ground at about 4:30 a.m. Authorities searched the 30th-floor apartment where Yeh was believed to live and found the doors open, the interior heavily disturbed and no one present.
Investigators also visited the 27th floor, where the victim’s 29-year-old Brazilian partner resides. She told authorities she did not know what had happened.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office ordered the body to be taken to the Judicial Morgue for an autopsy and full identification. Speaking to Radio 1000, Asunción Police Chief Inspector General Francisco Ávalos said the case is still in its initial phase and that authorities are keeping all possibilities open.

According to Ávalos, investigators have not yet established whether the crypto entrepreneur died in an accidental fall, by suicide, or as a result of third-party involvement.
Ávalos also confirmed that prosecutors had sought a search warrant for the victim’s apartment as part of the investigation.
Identifying the deceased has been challenging because of the extensive injuries caused by the fall, which was estimated at around 100 meters. Police and prosecutors continue to gather evidence to determine what happened inside the apartment before the fatal fall.
