KASTxyz surpasses RedotPay with $14M in daily crypto card spending as sector hits record
The stablecoin-to-fiat card platform overtook the market's longtime leader on a day that saw total crypto card spending reach $36.82 million
For most of 2026, RedotPay owned the crypto card spending market. Then July 20 happened.
KASTxyz processed $14 million in single-day transaction volume, leapfrogging RedotPay and claiming the top spot on a day when total crypto card spending across the sector hit a record $36.82 million.
How KAST climbed the ladder
Between April and June 2026, RedotPay recorded roughly $476 million in monthly transactions, commanding a market share north of 50.9% in June alone.
KAST’s monthly transaction volume jumped from $175 million in May to $199 million in June — a 13.7% month-over-month increase.
Founded around 2023, KASTxyz issues Visa debit cards, both virtual and physical, that handle stablecoin-to-fiat conversion seamlessly at the point of sale. The company now operates in over 170 countries and is accepted at roughly 150 million merchants through the Visa network. It has crossed the 1 million user mark.
Why July 20 was different
KAST capturing $14 million of the $36.82 million total means it accounted for roughly 38% of the day’s volume. RedotPay had been consistently holding more than half the market through the spring.
The bigger picture for crypto payments
The sector’s growth trajectory is notable. June’s combined volumes across platforms were already in the hundreds of millions, and daily records are now approaching $37 million.
For RedotPay, the July 20 numbers arrive against a backdrop of KAST’s growth from $175 million to $199 million in monthly volume over just one month.
