About GE Aerospace

GE Aerospace designs, makes, and services jet and turboprop engines, systems, and components for commercial, military, and business aircraft. Its business splits into two segments: commercial engines and services, and defense and propulsion technologies. Much of its revenue comes from aftermarket work such as maintenance, repair, and spare parts. Lawrence Culp serves as chief executive. The company says it has an installed base of about 70,000 engines, and aftermarket services drive roughly 70 percent of its adjusted revenue. GE Aerospace became the core remaining business after General Electric spun off GE Vernova in 2024.
