About KAITO
KAITO is an AI-powered platform focused on Web3 search, data aggregation, and attention tracking for crypto markets. The project calls its approach "InfoFi," short for information finance. It runs as an application-layer network built on Base, Ethereum's Layer-2 network, using large language models and data indexing rather than its own base-layer blockchain consensus. The KAITO token launched and began trading on major exchanges around February 19 to 20, 2025. Because KAITO runs on Base, it inherits Ethereum's underlying security and does not operate a separate proof-of-stake or proof-of-work mechanism. The native token is an ERC-20 asset with three primary uses: paying for platform services and analyses, staking to earn network incentives, and voting on governance decisions including protocol and algorithm changes. KAITO has a fixed maximum supply of one billion tokens. Roughly 241 million tokens were in circulation at launch, about 24 percent of the total, with 56.67 percent of supply allocated to community and ecosystem initiatives. The platform converts crypto information flows and user attention into measurable, structured signals for investors and researchers.
